Club football is set to pause for the fourth and final international break of the season over the coming fortnight. Thirteen Borussia Dortmund senior players have been called up by their countries, with some of them even set to face each other.

Manuel Akanji and Thomas Delaney, for example, will be on opposing sides when Switzerland take on Denmark in the first match of their EURO 2020 qualifying campaign on 26 March. At U21 level, Abdou Diallo (France) will square off against Mo Dahoud (Germany) and Jacob Bruun Larsen (Denmark), while Leonardo Balerdi (Argentina) and Dan-Axel Zagadou (France) will meet at U20 level. The players on duty will return to Dortmund between 25 and 27 March.

It is not yet certain whether all the players will ultimately end up linking up with their national teams.
