Marco Reus scored the winner with the last shot of a game in which his side had a season-high 25 attempts on goal in total. Meanwhile, Salomon Kalou scored a brace, as he did in the previous meeting with BVB earlier this season.

Thomas Delaney was lucky to see his shot deflected into the net. It was his second goal for Borussia Dortmund and his second away from home. Dan-Axel Zagadou scored his third Bundesliga goal from a corner but it was his first header.

Back on track: Dortmund have won two consecutive matches in the Bundesliga for the first time since the end of January.

Strong spirit: BVB have won five Bundesliga matches from a losing position this term. Favre's charges have by far the most come-from-behind wins in the division.

Leading by example: Marco Reus has scored five goals in his last six Bundesliga games and netted Dortmund's 19th goal in the final quarter-hour of games – more than any other team in the league!

Superior shot stats: Dortmund deserved to win after having way more shots (25-7) and twice coming from behind. BVB had more shots than they have had in any other game this term.

A threat on the road: Thomas Delaney has scored eight of his nine Bundesliga goals in away games. He had previously netted for Werder in Berlin in September 2017 to secure his side a 1-1 draw.

Top provider: Jadon Sancho notched his 16th and 17th assists of the Bundesliga season. A Dortmund player has not set up that many goals in the first 26 matches of a season since records began in 1992.

Young team: Borussia Dortmund have only had a younger starting XI once this season. Today the average age was 23.6 years, compared to 23.5 against Augsburg on Matchday 7.
