ROWE will remain Borussia Dortmund's Champion Partner for another five years. The football club and the lubricant manufacturer based in Worms, Germany have extended their successful partnership until 2028. ROWE have been working with BVB since 2017.

Just in time for the start of the 2023/24 Bundesliga season, ROWE has extended its partnership with BVB ahead of schedule until 2028. Michael Zehe, founder and CEO of ROWE: "We have been a Champion Partner of BVB since 2017. With each passing year, our partnership has become more trusting and has grown to the benefit of both sides in every respect. That's why we are very happy to extend the contract with our friends from Dortmund today until 2028 and we hope to celebrate many more successes together."

Connecting shared values

Dr. Alexandra Kohlmann, managing director at ROWE, explains, "The choice to work with BVB was a decision of the heart for us, then as now. There is hardly any other club in the world that we feel as connected to as this great historic club. The values, the commitment and the passion for what we do - our common ground goes far beyond a business partnership. We will continue to use this basis to further strengthen our cooperation in the future."

Carsten Cramer, managing director at Borussia Dortmund, was equally happy that the cooperation with ROWE was being extended: "The current contract was still valid until 2025, but we made a conscious decision to extend our partnership with ROWE ahead of schedule. All aspects of the collaboration hit the right notes, on a personal as well as on a professional level. We will take on some great projects together in the coming years - I am already looking forward to it.''

Partners on many trips

ROWE and BVB cooperate particularly closely on an international scale. For example, the lubricant manufacturer often acts as a partner of the first team or the BVB legends team on trips abroad. The two partners have made joint trips to places in Asia and the USA on several occasions. Oliver Kornisch, head of sponsoring & sales marketing at ROWE, explains the significance: "The passion for the team in Black & Yellow literally knows no bounds. The club are incredibly popular in lots of countries around the world. This enthusiasm of the local people helps to make the ROWE brand more well-known - especially in the growth markets of Asia, which are becoming increasingly important for our company."
