adesso and Borussia Dortmund will continue on their journey together: the partnership between the IT service provider and the Bundesliga football team has been extended by a further three years, until 2026. As an official digitalisation partner, adesso are also the number one contact for BVB on the path towards the digital transformation. In addition, adesso have committed to be the main youth sponsor and "partner of the Dortmund boys" for another three years.
With the extension of the partnership signed at the start of the new Bundesliga season, adesso are an official champion partner and official digitalisation partner of BVB. Also, as a kit sponsor, the IT service provider is boosting its visibility and public perception at home and away matches of the BVB youth teams. adesso and Borussia Dortmund have been working together in partnership since 2020. The focus is on projects in the areas of sales, marketing and sports, as well as comprehensive software development and IT consulting.
In sales and marketing, both partners are looking to take BVB's digital platforms and processes to a new level. The aim is to create an optimal experience for fans, to provide sponsors with new opportunities to target specific target groups, and to allow employees to benefit from more efficient processes. In addition to the relaunch of the BVB website, adesso is supporting the club launch a new ERP system and develop of holistic data management based on Salesforce.
Joint projects are also being further expanded in the field of sport. For example, a comprehensive data warehouse is currently being created for data & analytics: in-house data from sports science, medicine or match analysis can be linked to performance data from external sources, interpreted and visualised using appealing dashboards. BVB's internal target groups, from the coaching staff to management, thus benefit from detailed and customised evaluations, meaning that data-based scouting and player monitoring will enable youth and professional work to take place at the highest level in the future.
