Borussia's Oldies travel with a very strong squad to the traditional indoor Masters taking place this weekend on 11 and 12 January in Berlin's Max-Schmeling-Halle.

In addition to star players such as Toni da Silva, David Odonkor and Steffen Karl, team boss Günter Kutowski was able to attract another couple of top stars for the most well-attended indoor tournament of the season: Roman Weidenfeller and Patrick Owomoyela, who only a few weeks ago both played a decisive role in the 3-2 win over Bayern Munich at the Legends Cup in São Paulo. And a classy line-up will be necessary, because the Black & Yellows will tackle Schalke 04 in their opening match of the tournament. Further group games will follow against Dinamo Tiblisi and Bayer Leverkusen. In the other group, Werder Bremen will only face Berlin teams. Hertha BSC, 1. FC Union and Tennis Borussia will aim to put the local fans in a good mood.

BVB will play with a mourning black armband in memory of Hans Tilkowski, who died last Sunday.
