Some quick reactions from Köln shot-stopper Timo Horn in the dying seconds denied Raphael Guerreiro the chance to grab what would have been a second winning goal within the space of a week for Borussia Dortmund's Portuguese midfielder.

Guerreiro, who notched an 87th minute winner in BVB's 3-2 victory over Mönchengladbach last Saturday, as well as setting up Dortmund's first goal in Munich in midweek, latched onto a diagonal ball from Erik Durm in the second minute of stoppage time, but was thwarted in his attempt as Timo Horn clawed the ball away from the bottom left corner.

"I thought it had gone in, I was about to celebrate. But the 'keeper made a great save," said the 23-year-old, who narrowly missed out on his eighth goal of the season in all competitions. "The most important thing is that we put in a solid, compact performance," he added.

Fans to drive team on against Hoffenheim

In the fight for third place, whose occupant will qualify automatically for the UEFA Champions League, Borussia Dortmund will take on direct rivals Hoffenheim next Saturday. "That game will be the decider," said Guerreiro, who continued: "With the crowd behind us and a whole week in which to prepare, we have every chance of winning the game."
