Borussia Dortmund will restart their domestic campaign after the international break with a trip to VfB Stuttgart on Friday evening. Peter Bosz is full of optimism as he prepares for the Matchday 12 clash with the newly promoted side, who are on an excellent home run.

"I'm feeling optimistic, because we've been able to train properly," said the Dutchman, adding: "We were able to train with 12 or 13 players over the international break, not with just four or five." Both defensive and offensive manoeuvres have been rehearsed.

"Stuttgart are solid defensively and give away few opportunities," said Bosz of BVB's opponents. "It's not going to be easy. We will only be successful if we perform as a real team and implement our style of play one hundred percent."

"We'll find our way back to where we were"

The personnel situation is currently not entirely clear, as some of the internationals will not return to Dortmund until Thursday. At the time of writing there has been no news of new injuries, while Ömer Toprak, who had a minor knee problem, "will probably be able to resume training tomorrow."

BVB will be hoping to turn the corner in Stuttgart. Bosz is convinced of it in any case. "We'll find our way back to where we were," he said. (br)
