Polish referee Daniel Stefanski will take charge of the first leg of Borussia Dortmund's tie with Atalanta on Thursday evening. The 40-year-old match official has been refereeing at European level since 2013.

Stefanski, who is known for his consistency, has overseen three matches in the UEFA Europa League this season. He has previously taken charge of 169 matches in the Polish Extraklasa, brandishing 626 yellow cards and sending off 41 players.

He will be assisted on the touchlines by linesmen Marcin Boniek and Dawid Igor Golis. Bartosz Frankowski and Zbigniew Dobrynin will be the goal-line assistants, while Krzysztof Myrmus has been named the fourth official. (br)
