It is a match that Borussia Dortmund are capable of winning, said Peter Stöger ahead of the meeting with Hannover 96 on Sunday (kick-off 13:30 CET). "If we do our stuff well, then we'll get the results," he said. But he admitted: "If we don't do them well, it'll be difficult."

Stöger cited the performance in the Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt last Sunday, in which the Black & Yellows claimed a 3-2 victory, as an example. "We put in a decent display in the Frankfurt match. We can learn some lessons from that."

The coach is expecting a Hannover side with a similar playing style to Eintracht. "They're tough to play against and athletic," said Stöger of the men from Lower Saxony, whom he is expecting to line up with a back three that expands into a back five when they don't have the ball.

As for the starting line-up, Stöger refused to be drawn on his team selection. The Austrian first wants to see how the training sessions scheduled up until Sunday unfold: "Then we will see who is really ready. We need lads who can put their foot on the gas."
