On Wednesday evening, Borussia Dortmund will host 1. FC Nuremberg who last won at Strobelallee in November 1990 and last scored away against Dortmund in 2006. As usual, we have got some game facts for you.

This season so far: Third against eighth. Borussia started the season with two home wins and two away draws, the "Club" suffered an unlucky defeat in their opening game against Berlin followed by a home win and two draws. BVB is unbeaten in 11 games against newly returned top-flighters (eight wins, three draws). The last meeting was in March 2014 (3-0).

Home/Away:  Borussia Dortmund has won six of the past seven home matches. 1. FC Nuremberg is still without an away win. Their last away win in the Bundesliga was a 1-0 victory on 16/02/2014 against Augsburg. BVB has won the last five home fixtures against Nuremberg, with an aggregate score of 14-0.

Personnel: BVB is hoping for Alcácer's return and will have to do without Diallo, Toprak and Guerreiro. FCN will have to go without Ewerton, Salli and Lippert.

Head-to-head: Out of the total of 64 Bundesliga ties, BVB has won 32. 19 were undecided and Nuremberg won 13 times. At the Strobelallee, we have 23 wins, five draws and four defeats. Since the game on 16.11.1990 (0-2), Borussia has not lost a single one of the following 15 home games against Nuremberg (12 wins, two ties) and has not conceded in the last seven games at home. The last away goal scored by the Franconians in Dortmund was when Nikl found the back of the net in season of 2005/06. Nuremberg has not been so long without a victory against any other club.

The biggest home win: BVB has managed a smooth 4-0 against 1. FC Nuremberg three times. The last time was on 5 December 2009. Goalkeeper Stephan stopped nine shots on goal to prevent a whitewash and "only" let in goals from Großkreutz (8'), Barrios (13'), Zidan (36') and Hummels (62').

Spectators: The Signal Iduna Park is still not sold out. Tickets are still available in the FanWelt shop and in the online box office. The stadium ticket office will be open for both BVB and Nuremberg fans.

Officials: Patrick Ittrich (39, Hamburg) will officiate his sixth BVB game.
