Borussia Dortmund will still be involved in the UEFA Champions League after the winter break. The draw for the Round of 16 fixtures will take place this coming Monday.

The possible opponents

Having finished second in Group F, BVB will be paired with one of the eight group winners – though they will avoid Rasenballsport Leipzig, Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona. The rules stipulate that you cannot face a club from the same country or a group-stage opponent in the last 16. That leaves Paris St. Germain, Manchester City, Juventus, Liverpool and Valencia as the potential opponents.

The possible dates

The Round of 16 fixtures will take place between 18 February and 18 March 2020. What is certain is that BVB will play their first leg at home on 18/19 or 25/26 February. (br)
