Marco Reus and Emre Can spoke to the media following the win at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the quarter-final of the cup. Here are the match reactions.

Marco Reus: "We're in the semi-final! We've performed well in our latest games – we need to keep doing that. I'm very proud of the team and the way we fought in the final minutes. I have the feeling that we're simply looking better on the pitch, that we have a different energy. We work hard – and we've proven in the last few weeks that we're always good for goals. We kept another clean sheet today. Stabilising the defence is an enormously important factor for us. We can be very proud. A few days ago we said that this week would be extremely important. We've started the week well; now we have to recover well and then we'll prepare for Munich."

Emre Can: "We've done very well in our last few games. The first half was difficult today. We had little time at the back, but we knew that Gladbach could not keep it up for 90 minutes. We wanted to get more space in the defensive midfield area in the second half. We managed that. Then we scored a lovely goal and fought as a team until the end. We've kept another clean sheet. We're defending better. We're conceding fewer goals; that's very important in football. Everyone is running the extra metre. Today we fought to the end and defended superbly after making it 1-0."
