"We cancelled each other out a little in the first half," said Edin Terzic as he reflected on the way both teams went about the game. "We performed significantly better in the second half, offered more and wanted to get on the ball more frequently."

And that's how his side emerged victorious after 97 entertaining minutes. "We managed to pose a goal threat; it was a deserved victory," declared the coach. "Gladbach tried to apply pressure immediately. We lost possession four times in the opening two minutes and started the game slightly sluggishly. We changed that very quickly and gave away little.
