"It was end to end, a little like in basketball," commented Jude Bellingham. "I love the Champions League," added Erling Haaland. Here are the match reactions from the two goalscorers and Sebastian Kehl, the head of the licensed player division.

Jude Bellingham: "It was a brilliant atmosphere. It was an honour to be able to play in front of so many fans again. But the most important thing is that we won the match. That was our job today. It was end to end, a little like in basketball. We were a bit more decisive and won the game. We're very satisfied with our first games. It's a lot of fun to win football matches with Borussia Dortmund. We need to continue in the same fashion."

Erling Haaland: "It was a tough game. That was an important victory. I'm very tired now. The pitch wasn't so good but we couldn't change that. We fought and played well in the end. I'm very happy about the victory. Jude is fantastic. He's 18 years old and plays unbelievably well. I love the Champions League and I enjoy playing here. I'm a goalscorer, that's my job. So I have to score goals."

Sebastian Kehl: "It was really loud today. We're used to all that in Dortmund. This was an important three points against a good opponent. The conditions were not the easiest. It was a deserved victory, even though we also missed a lot of opportunities to score. But overall, we can be very satisfied with the performance. We wanted to keep a clean sheet today, because we've been letting in a few goals in the league. Mats was tiring after 70 minutes, so we took him off."
