Borussia Dortmund will welcome 1. FC Union Berlin to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK in their third Bundesliga home game of the season on Sunday. Kick-off will be at 17:30 CET. 25,000 spectators are permitted to attend. All the important infos can be found below.
Do I have to bring a printed ticket with me?
Yes! Absolutely! Showing a PDF document on a mobile phone will not be enough to gain entry to Signal Iduna Park. And nor will the season ticket of course. Only a printed copy of your ticket will suffice for entry.
Can I give my ticket to someone else if I suddenly can't make it?
Yes, the ticket is no longer personalised and can therefore be transferred. In addition, the Secondary Ticket Market will be open until 12:00 CET on the day of the game. The ticket can be put up for sale there. If a new buyer is found, the price of the match ticket only will be refunded (without the advance booking fee).
Can I bring my child with me?
"Lap tickets", which provide free admission for children under the age of seven, cannot be issued as the children do not have a fixed allocated seat.
How is the proof of "GG" (vaccination, recovery or testing) checked?
In order to be able to ensure a safe and efficient check, all visitors are required to carry the respective proof digitally in the Corona-Warn-App or the CovPass app, and to show it at the checkpoints via QR code and identify themselves by photo ID. After verification, the spectator will receive a "GG control wristband". Admission to the stadium is only possible with this wristband! Children from the age of six and young people up to the age of 18 who are not yet allowed to be vaccinated or have not yet been vaccinated must carry a negative test result with them, which must not be older than 48 hours at the time the stadium opens.
Where can I find the "GG" checkpoints?
Mobile teams be found at:
- the ''Am Westfalenstadion'' walkway
- at am Rabenloh (behind entrance "Luftbad")
- in front of the BVB Fan World
- in front of the Rote Erde Stadion
- at Turnweg
- at Schwimmweg/Bolmkerweg
- in front of the stadium
- at the Luftbad car park
- at the south end of the pedestrian walkway over the B1
Can I have "GG" status confirmed beforehand?
Yes, this can be done in the BVB Fan World (all other fan shops are closed on Sundays) on the day of the match from 12:00 to 15:00 CET. In addition, a "drive-in" will be set up from 10:00 to 14:00 CET at the entrance to the "Luftbad" car park directly next to the entrance to the street "Am Rabenloh".
Can I use local public transport free of charge with my ticket?
Those who are unable to travel by car (there are over 10,000 paid parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity of Signal Iduna Park), bicycle or on foot, but wish to use public transport, must for technical reasons purchase a separate, free-of-charge travel ticket via a DSW21 portal in addition to their digitally-mailed BVB admission ticket ("Print@home"). Detailed information on this was sent to the purchasers along with the tickets and can be found here. The ''Uni-Shuttle'' will not be available.
What should I bear in mind when entering the stadium?
The entrances "Südost" and the three entrance areas in the north are linked to fixed grandstand areas and blocks. Only the admission area indicated on the ticket can be used. ''Time slots'' – 15-minute time windows in which the stadium visitor must be at the entrance – are also indicated on the ticket. These "time slots" begin at 16:00 CET. Those who want to be prepared for all eventualities and avoid contact with people as much as possible are welcome to come between 15:00 and 16:00 CET ("Early Bird") to take their seats early.
What fan paraphernalia am I allowed to take into the stadium?
As before, flags with a pole length of up to 1.5 metres may be taken along. Fence flags are also permitted as usual. If you have any questions, please contact our fan representatives directly at email@example.com.
Can I bring my own drinks?
No. No bottles, cans. etc. may be brought into the stadium. Large bags are also not allowed.
Can strangers sit next to me?
Coronavirus regulations allow for people from different households to sit alongside one another.
What rules apply in SIGNAL IDUNA PARK??
Face masks (medical masks or FFP2 masks) must be worn from the moment of arrival at the stadium. It can only be removed at the seat that is indicated on your ticket. As a result, the consumption of food and drinks is only possible at one's own seat; the same applies to smoking. Only children under the age of seven are exempt from the obligation to wear a mask. Please keep the necessary distance from each other, and wash and disinfect your hands regularly. Payment at the kiosks is strictly cash-free.
And one last note from us:
After almost a year-and-a-half of the pandemic, Borussia Dortmund has experienced a lot of turnover in its temporary staff. A good third of the employees who will be on duty on Sunday only joined our team at the start of the season. Dear stadium visitors, please understand that things may not run as smoothly as you are used to or expect in one or two instances. We would like to thank you in advance! (br)
