"In the first half we enjoyed an incredible amount of space up front," Marco Reus said on Sky Germany, "while in the second half we were in control. I always had the feeling that we could win the game."

Marco Reus on the penalty decision:
"I think the decision is harsh. Mats tries to play the ball with his head. Of course, he also needs his body for that, that's clear. What upsets me even more is that the referee says my action against Hernandez was just a bit of upper body and doesn't even look at it. During the game, I didn't think the scene was so clear, but now, when I see it on TV, at the very least he has to look at it."

... on how the game went and the result:
"It was a wild game. In the first half, we enjoyed an incredible amount of space up front, but didn't make use of it. In the second half we equalised to make it 2-2 and kept up pressure. We always had the feeling that we could win the game. And then, of course, it is doubly bitter when we are punished like that."
