Borussia Dortmund won the 159th Ruhr derby 1-0 thanks to a goal by 17-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko. In the end, everyone was really happy. Here are the match reactions.

Edin Terzic: "In the first half we didn't create so many scoring chances, but we came into the final third very well. We knew it would be very passionate and very emotional. We were ready for this game. It was all about the three points. They are the sweetest points that we can win in a season."

Nico Schlotterbeck: "The whole week has been about the derby. Awesome! Richly deserved! And then a youngster scores the goal: Mouki! I'm really happy about that. The fans are carrying us along. That was a lot of fun. And the celebration afterwards was the most fun of all. Schalke were very defensive, played a lot of long balls to the big strikers. I'm happy we managed a goal, and when you keep a clean sheet, one goal is enough."

Youssoufa Moukoko: "The defender pushed forward a bit, so there was a bigger free space behind him. Then I looked up and saw the fans on the southern terrace going crazy. This is what you dream of as a boy. It was very nice to experience that. If I come on as a substitute, it's good for me too. At some state, I'll play from the start again, but I'm not putting any pressure on myself."

Karim Adeyemi: "We were fired up, desperate to win and show who is number one. It wasn't a normal game. It was about winning the first ball, the second ball."

Julian Brandt: "We put all our energy into the game. Schalke didn't make it easy for us, we didn't make it easy for ourselves either at times. We knew that they would try to play a frantic game, but that we had to stay true to our own style of play. We took their breath away at times. What wasn't so good – which we have excelled at recently - was that we didn't create any excellent goal scoring chances for long periods in the match. We had to really push for the goal. Luckily we had guys we could bring off the bench."

Donyell Malen: "I'm very happy. It was a big game and it feels very good to have won it. We should have played a little bit clearer in the final third. We had a lot of chances, but sometimes it's like that in games like this."

Mats Hummels: "A derby is always something special anyway. But now after the break for the Coronavirus it’s even more special. The previous derby with fans was three years ago, everyone was looking forward to it. The atmosphere here in and around the stadium was great. A lot of big smiles in our team - and mine were among them."
