It was an intense evening – even after the final whistle – as the Black & Yellows completed an interview marathon following their 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich. The match reactions.

Sebastian Kehl (to ZDF): "Thanks to our incredible commitment and great spirit, we got our reward for a good game. The point is more than deserved. It doesn't get more emotional than equalising at 2-2 against Bayern Munich in the 95th minute. That gives us a lot of strength. And it does Tony good too. And above all, it was very important for the team. They showed great spirit. You can't perform better than that. We can live with this 2-2. If we perform like today or in Seville, I won't have any concerns about this season."

Edin Terzic (at the press conference): "It was a very intense match. In the first half in particular, we defended very well and kept it compact in the middle. It got wild towards the end; that was also the aim of the substitutions. What was very positive was that we believed up until the last moment that something was still possible. It was a very deserved point, because we created many chances at the end. When you're 2-0 down against Bayern, the match normally ends 4-0 or 5-0. That didn't happen today. We were able to put an exclamation mark behind the mentality question for today."

Anthony Modeste (to Sky, source: kicker): "I could've scored two goals at the end; that's clear. But the fact I made it 2-2 is the most important thing. I simply kept believing in myself – if I don't do that, who's going to do it for me? And I got my reward. I've gotten a lot of stick, but I've already seen everything in football. I need to stay positive and always believe in myself."

Youssoufa Moukoko (to BVB TV): "It was sheer madness. I lost it. Everyone was delighted. You can see that we're a team. We're delighted with every goal and especially with one against Bayern in the 95th minute. This goal will also give Tony the necessary self-confidence. I'm delighted for him. I learn a lot from him; he's like a father to me. We'll see many more goals from him. We did what the coach demanded of us. Now we can celebrate a bit. But on Tuesday we go again."

Niklas Süle (to Sky): "We were very solid in the first half, had four or five very good chances and then fell behind to a shot from 20 metres out. We asked ourselves at the break how we could be 1-0 down? We knew we'd have to go through the mill if we wanted to come away with something."

Nico Schlotterbeck (to BVB TV): "We threw everything forward at the end. I saw Alex (editor's note: Meyer) in the opposition box for two minutes at the end. My cross fortunately found Tony and I'm even more delighted for him following his long drought. We were not worse throughout the entire match; we were even a little better in terms of chances, but: we didn't win."

Jude Bellingham (to Sky): "It's definitely better to get a point than go home empty-handed. There's a long way to go this season; who knows what it might mean. Our character, fans and quality allowed us to come back. The late equaliser felt very special. Bayern have a brilliant team. It was really hard to play against them. Today was a complete performance from the entire team."

Karim Adeyemi (to BVB TV): "We made a good start and played a good game, went 2-0 down, but anything can happen here in Dortmund. We believed and managed to equalise at 2-2."
