On Tuesday (8 November), BVB will be in action away to VfL Wolfsburg (kick-off 18:30 CET). Around 3,000 fans from Dortmund will make the trip to the Volkswagen Arena to support the Black & Yellows. We have summarised the most important information for all fans travelling to the game.

Transport

Travelling by train:
The Volkswagen Arena is about 15 minutes' walk from the Wolfsburg train station.

Travelling by car/minibus/bus:
Please note that there is no access via the Berliner Brücke.
Please use the following route: A39 to the Weyhausen exit. The exit will take you onto the B188, where you should keep to the right. When you reach the Schlosspark, take the L322 exit. From there, follow the road to the Volkswagen Arena via the two roundabouts.

Buses:
Buses can park in the away coach parking area.

Car/minibus:.

  • Due to an event taking place at the same time in Wolfsburg, there is currently only limited parking available around the Allerpark.
  • As an alternative - coming from the A39 - you can use the Kästorf Park & Ride car park, from where free shuttle buses run to the stadium at regular intervals.

Admission

  • The stadium will open its doors at 16:30 CET.
  • Access is via the south and south-east away entrances.
  • The away section is located in blocks 29 and 32-36.

Permitted fan paraphernalia

  • Small flags (pole length up to 200 cm, diameter max. 3 cm, empty tube made of PVC, open at the top and bottom, inspectable).
  • Five swinging flags (Telescopic poles up to 500 cm, hollow plastic tube, open at the top and bottom, inspectable)
  • Double holders (Stick length up to 200 cm, diameter max. 3 cm, hollow tube made of PVC, open at the top and bottom, inspectable)
  • Three drums, with one set of drumsticks for each drum (open at the bottom and inspectable)
  • Three megaphones
  • Fence flags (must not be draped over advertising hoardings)

All fan paraphernalia will be inspected in the material checkpoint at the away entrance south. A maximum of two fans are allowed to be present for the inspections of each item. 

Permitted items

SLR cameras as well as compact cameras can be taken into the Volkswagen Arena.

Forbidden items

High-level SLR cameras or similar, which suggest they are being used for professional photography.

Additional informationen

  • Items can be deposited at the away entrance for a fee of €2.
  • There is no fixed alcohol limit. Persons who are obviously heavily intoxicated will be refused entry to the stadium.
  • Payment in the stadium can only be made by cashless means (Girocard, credit card, smartphone, VfL (deposit) card).
  • The VfL card can be borrowed with a €2 deposit and can be topped up at the charging stations before payment. It can be returned at the stadium ticket offices.
  • Alcoholic beer will only be served in the outside area of the away section in front of the Volkswagen Arena.
  • The North Stand (blocks 1-16 as well as F), the western part of the upper tier of the Main Stand (blocks 56, 58, 60, 62, 64) and the Wölfi Curve (blocks 37-44 as well as A) mark the home section. BVB fans are not allowed to enter this part of the ground.
  • On match day, a security ring will be drawn around the Volkswagen Arena. On the access routes of the security ring are the checkpoints where spectators will be searched. BVB fans arriving on foot from the north will be searched twice: once on entering the security ring and once at the away entrance.
