After the match against 1. FC Cologne, Mo Dahoud, Donyell Malen, Nico Schlotterbeck, Marco Reus and of course coach Edin Terzic shared their thoughts. The match reactions.

Mo Dahoud (to BVB TV): "It's a very nice feeling to be back on the pitch after such a long time. The team helped me. When we play quickly and switch, gaps open up. And we were clinical in front of goal. We have nothing to shy away from in Munich."

Donyell Malen (to BVB TV): "I'm happy, we produced a good performance. It is satisfying for me to help the team with goals and assists. So I'm very happy. For my goal, the left-back moved out too early. Nicki (editor's note: Süle) did very well to spot that and played a great pass. I went into the one-on-one and shot inside the near post."

Nico Schlotterbeck (to BVB TV): "We had a lot of joy in attacking areas, particularly in the first half. We got a big return from few chances. Rapha had an unbelievably good day, Marco had an unbelievably good day. Donny down the right: crazy! The attack played with a lot of joy. And Mo Dahoud gave us a lot of stability. Then it's easy for us at the back."

Edin Terzic (at the press conference): "It was an all-round deserved victory. We immediately took control. In terms of efficiency, we took a really good step in the right direction compared to the derby last week. What is particularly nice is that nobody dropped off; rather, everyone produced a really good performance. There was a short spell in the first half in which they didn't have so much desire to push and Cologne had more of the ball. We adjusted that at the break and deservedly won. We're satisfied to go into the international break like this."

Marco Reus (to Sky): "It was an all-round deserved victory. We set the course early on, had good control and closed down the centre. And Cologne were no longer able to plug the gaps. The goals were well worked. Mo Dahoud played a really good game. He has been out for so long; I really liked the presence that he showed on the pitch. He's a great footballer. We dropped off in the second period against Schalke and were very disappointed with the 2-2 draw. That's why it was important to become league leaders, even if it is only for tonight. We have a really cool game coming up in a fortnight; there'll be a few players coming back. Even after that it won't be decided, but it will be a very important game."
