Borussia Dortmund will play in Stuttgart on Wednesday. Kick-off is at 20:45 CET. We have summarised all the info on our cup clash in a compact format. This page will be updated if there is any news.

Fixtures: Draw on Sunday

The winners will find out on Sunday who their next opponents will be in the DFB-Pokal: the four quarter-final pairings will be drawn at 19:15 CET (ARD will broadcast live) and played over four days at the end of January / start of February (30/1, 31/1, 6/2 and 7/2).

Weather: Dry and cold

Following a changeable day, it is expected to remain dry in the evening with temperatures set to drop to two degrees by kick-off. There is a 20% probability of rain.

Referee: Benjamin Brand in charge

As he was in the first round away to TSV Schott Mainz, the 34-year-old business economist from Gerolzhofen will be in charge of a DFB-Pokal tie involving BVB. Thomas Stein and Dr. Martin Thomsen will assist on the sidelines, with Timo Gerach the fourth official and Tobias Welz on VAR duty. BVB's record under Benjamin Brand's leadership: there have been three wins in three DFB-Pokal ties (all first round), plus four wins and a draw in the league.

Kits: BVB to wear cup shirts

BVB will wear yellow shirts, yellow shorts and yellow socks in Stuttgart – exactly as they did in their Bundesliga meeting – while the home team will line up in all-white strips once again.

Live broadcast: ZDF and Sky

The match can be watched live on TV via both ZDF and Sky. ZDF will be broadcasting live from Stuttgart from 20:15 CET. Katrin Müller-Hohenstein (picture) will present the programme, with Martin Schneider on commentary duty. In addition, the match can be watched on Sky Sport 3 and Sky Sport UHD l. The BVB Net Radio will give you the usual Black & Yellow take, with Norbert Dickel and Danny Fritz on the mic. Match highlights plus the press conference and match reactions will be available on BVB TV, among others.
