Borussia Dortmund's U23s will be without two top talents, whose performances in the current Regionalliga campaign have earned them mid-season transfers, when the second half of the season kicks off.

Midfielder Lars Dietz, who has made 14 appearances for the Black & Yellows so far this season, is set for a move to 2. Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin. The youngster, who is about to turn 21, has been playing for Borussia Dortmund since the age of 11.

Meanwhile, defender Oliver Steurer, who joined the club from RW Oberhausen in summer 2017, is also preparing for a move to the second tier. Steurer, who turns 23 this Saturday and has played in all 17 matches this term, wants to move to 1. FC Heidenheim.
