The Borussia Dortmund U23s will play their postponed Matchday 4 clash with Alemannia Aachen at the Rote Erde Stadium on Wednesday evening (18:00 CET). Coach Fuat Kilic's team occupy 11th place ahead of their trip to the Ruhr, having taken 16 points – one fewer than 10th-placed BVB – from their 12 matches to date.

BVB coach Mike Tullberg has only a three-day preparation period between the draw in Bonn and the match on Wednesday. In an interview, Tullberg explained that he was happy with the second period in Bonn. I'm happy with the way we turned the game around. We showed real desire, that was good," added the tactician, who is expecting a similarly intense match against Aachen. "Alemannia are an experienced side whose goal was actually to gain promotion. I've watched them three times, it'll be a tough task for us."

He will be without long-term injury absentees Haymenn Bah-Traoré and Julian Schwermann, while Tobi Raschl and Emre Aydinel will be in Youth League action in Milan with the U19s. Nonetheless, Tullberg is looking forward to the game, even if – by his own admission – some tough lessons have been learned over the past few weeks.

As has been the norm this season, there will be mascots (from SC Husen-Kurl) and ball boys (from FC Wellinghofen) at the match on Wednesday evening. To find out how your youth team could be involved at a game, click here.
