Borussia Dortmund restricted Eintracht Frankfurt to one shot in their 4-0 win – the fewest they have given away in any game since records began. Here are the match facts.

Strong defensive performance: Borussia Dortmund only allowed their opponents one shot. That's only ever happened once before since records began – in a 1-0 win against Mönchengladbach on 9 November 2014.

Highest goal tally in history: Sixty-three goals in the first 22 rounds of a season is a new best for BVB, surpassing the previous record of 58 goals from 1963/64.

Floodlit Fridays: Borussia Dortmund have not lost any of their last 29 home games on a Friday evening. Tonight was the 21st victory since January 2004; there have been eight draws since then too.

Unbeatable at home: The Black & Yellows are the only team yet to lose a single Bundesliga home game this term and have taken 27 out of a possible 33 points on home turf.

Favourite foe: BVB have not lost any of their last eight meetings with Eintracht Frankfurt. Historically, BVB have more Bundesliga wins against the men from Hesse than they do against any other club. Tonight was number 45.

In top form: Raphael Guerreiro has scored three of his five goals this season in the last four games.

Haaland's next record: Erling Haaland has needed just 12 shots and 280 minutes to reach eight goals. While the latter is not a record (Paco Alcácer managed nine goals in 237 minutes), Haaland is the first player to score eight goals in his first five Bundesliga matches.

Another assist: Axel Witsel racked up his fourth assist of the season. Having scored four goals too, he already has eight scorer points – three more than he managed in the entirety of last season.

Good omen: Jadon Sancho scored his 13th goal of the Bundesliga season and, in doing so, set a new personal record. BVB have never lost when Sancho's scored (18 wins, five draws).

Long-awaited left-footer: Lukasz Piszczek scored his first left-footed goal in more than six years (in a 2-2 draw in Hoffenheim in December 2013). It was his 19th Bundesliga goal overall.

Club record extended: Borussia Dortmund scored for the 36th successive Bundesliga home game and, in doing so, extended the club record.

Woodwork woes: Guerreiro's free-kick which struck the post was the third time Borussia have hit the woodwork since the winter break, and the eighth in total this term.
