Borussia Dortmund have closed their youth performance centre and sent all their players home on a temporary basis. "The lads will stay with their families for the next two weeks and won't be training here," said Lars Ricken, the BVB Youth Coordinator.

This comes after the DFB and the regional associations decided to postpone match operations. As a result, all action in the U17 and U19 Bundesliga has been suspended until 4 April, at which point the situation will be re-evaluated.

For all teams below the U17s, the following applies: the associations have opted for a suspension up to and including 19 April – i.e. until the end of the Easter Holidays. In response, Borussia Dortmund has sent all its youth players home for a holiday. No training will take place at the youth performance centre prior to 30 March.
