The city of Dortmund approved an additional 1,500 seats for the BVB home game against SC Freiburg. All these tickets have now been snatched up, meaning the game on Saturday is officially ''sold-out.'' 11,5000 fans will watch the action in SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.

The attendance limit for the first home game of the season against Borussia Mönchengladbach was set at 10,000. BVB had planned to host the same number of spectators for the second game before the city of Dortmund gave the late green light for an additional 1,500 places.

Borussia Dortmund season ticket holders and club members were able to purchase two tickets each for the match against Freiburg. Ticket holders must be resident in North Rhine-Westphalia, and the seven-day incidence of cases in their cities or municipalities must be below 35.
