Borussia Dortmund will host 1. FSV Mainz 05 at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on Saturday 16 October. Kick-off is at 15:30 CET. Up to 67,000 spectators are allowed to attend. You can find all of the important information here.

Do I have to carry a printout of my ticket?
Yes! You definitely have to print out your ticket. Showing the PDF document on your mobile phone will not be enough for you to be granted entry into Signal Iduna Park. Your season ticket will also not be enough. The only way to secure entry into the stadium is to show your printed Print@Home ticket.

Can I give my ticket to someone else if I suddenly can't make it?
Yes, the ticket is no longer personalised and can therefore be transferred. In addition, the Secondary Ticket Market will be open until 12:00 CET on the day of the game. The ticket can be put up for sale there. If a new buyer is found, the price of the match ticket only will be refunded (without the advance booking fee).

Can I bring my child with me?
"Lap tickets," which provide free admission for children under the age of seven, will be issued again for the first time on Saturday. They will be released on match day at the three clearing points (NW/NO & SO) as usual. Proof of age must be shown. There is no guarantee you will get a seat.

Will there be a box office?
On Saturday, two box offices will open at 12:30 CET at the FanWelt outside counters.

How is the proof of "GGG" status (vaccination, recovery, or testing) checked?
The control of the GGG IDs proof takes place in the direct approach to the turnstiles. In addition to your ID card, please have your GGG proof ready digitally in the Corona Warn App or Covpass App.

Can I use local public transport free of charge with my ticket?
Those who wish to use public transport must, for technical reasons, purchase a separate, free-of-charge travel ticket via a DSW21 portal in addition to their digitally-mailed BVB admission ticket ("Print@home"). Detailed information on this was sent to the purchasers along with the tickets and can be found here. The ''Uni-Shuttle'' will be available again for the first time this weekend.

What should I bear in mind when entering the stadium?
The entrances "Südost" and the three entrance areas in the north are linked to fixed grandstand areas and blocks. Only the admission area indicated on the ticket can be used. ''Time slots'' – 15-minute time windows in which the stadium visitor must be at the entrance – are also indicated on the ticket. These "time slots" begin at 14:00 CET. Those who want to be prepared for all eventualities and avoid contact with people as much as possible are welcome to come between 13:00 and 14:00 CET ("Early Bird") to take their seats early.

2 for 1: "Happy Hour" before the Mainz game
We recommend arriving early to make the journey and admission to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK easier. We would like to reward those who arrive early with a special promotion for the home match against FSV Mainz 05: there will be a "2 for 1" offer at the stadium's kiosks during ''Happy Hour.''

From 13:00 to 14:00 CET during the "Early Bird" window, all food and drink - including alcoholic beer - will be available on a "2 for 1" offer.

By entering the stadium early, you'll help us avoid queues at entrance controls and kiosks during peak times - so join in, help us, and get your reward!

Can I bring my own drinks?
No. No bottles, cans. etc. may be brought into the stadium. Large bags are also not allowed.

Can strangers sit next to me?
Coronavirus regulations allow for people from different households to sit alongside one another.

What rules apply in SIGNAL IDUNA PARK?
Face masks (medical masks or FFP2 masks) must be worn from the moment of arrival at the stadium. It can only be removed at the seat that is indicated on your ticket. As a result, the consumption of food and drinks is only possible at one's own seat; the same applies to smoking. Only children under the age of seven are exempt from the obligation to wear a mask. Please keep the necessary distance from each other, and wash and disinfect your hands regularly. Payment at the kiosks is strictly cash-free.

And one last note from us:
After almost a year-and-a-half of the pandemic, Borussia Dortmund has experienced a lot of turnovers in its temporary staff. A good third of the employees who will be on duty on Sunday only joined our team at the start of the season. Dear stadium visitors, please understand that things may not run as smoothly as you are used to or expect in one or two instances. We would like to thank you in advance!
