Borussia Dortmund's A and B junior teams will continue their preparations for the spring season with two friendlies at the youth academy on Adi-Preißler-Allee in Brackel.

Having already beaten Hannover 96 2-0 and the first team of Oberliga club ASC 09 Dortmund 6-2, the U19s are next in action on Sunday (23 January) when they face SV Werder Bremen (kick-off at 15:00 CET). With the Bundesliga restarting against Leverkusen on Friday 4 February (16:00 CET), head coach Mike Tullberg is expecting to play most of his first-choice line-up. Right-back Lion Semic is on the verge of his comeback after almost four months on the sidelines.

The U17s will take on the U19s of Niederrheinliga club SG Unterrath on Saturday (22 January, kick-off at 11:00 CET). Coach Sebastian Geppert will be without Nico Adamczyk, Vinzenco Onofrietti, Marlon Ubani and Charles Herrmann, who are missing due to a combination of illness or injury. He will give playing time to all 16 available players. (wiwi)
