BVB versus Kiel, Porath versus Porath. When son Finn turns out for Holstein Kiel in the DFB Cup semi-final, mother Julia Porath will be cheering on from afar. However, the leader of the BVB youth residence has ''two boys out on the pitch.''

Finn, on Saturday you're playing against a team that you're a fan of.
Finn Porath: 'I've always thought Dortmund were a cool team. During my time at HSV I had a BVB shirt of Moritz Leitner hanging up in my room. We had the same agent and we trained together a bit on holiday. He gave me his shirt after a BVB match in Hamburg. When my mum started working at BVB I really wanted to go to the stadium, as I'd never been before. Now I'm going to be out on the pitch playing against players that I watched on TV when I was a youngster.''

What do you make of the draw?
Finn Porath: ''It's a dream tie. It was great to get drawn against Bayer Munich, and we were all really excited when we drew Dortmund too. Although I'm happy to be playing in Dortmund's stadium, I would have preferred to play in Kiel, as we've had too many away games recently. But it will definitely be a great experience to play in Dortmund.''

How did you experience the draw?
Julia Porath: ''I didn't even know it was on. I first noticed it had taken place when someone wrote to me to say: ''That's a dream draw!''
Finn Porath: ''Then we wrote in the family WhatsApp group. I also got messages from a lot of friends.''

How are you looking ahead to the game?
''My brother is a bit younger, so I've never played against him. I've never had a game with family involvement before. Another thing that's nice is getting to see Otto Addo again in the semi-final. I played under him for two years when he was my U19 coach at Hamburg.''

Who will you be supporting Julia?
Julia Porath:''I've been mother to four children for a number of years now. But the boys that I look after in the residence also awaken my mothering instincts. In Saturday's game I'll have two boys on the pitch: Finn and Ansgar Knauff for BVB. I've never been a fan of the team that Finn plays for; I'm a fan of the boys, and I'm happy when they come off the pitch in good health. That's the most important thing for me. When everyone's happy and playing well, then I can't lose. That will be the same for Finn and Ansgar on Saturday.''
