Travel

Please note that several events are taking place in Bielefeld at the same time and that there will be no parking spaces available in the vicinity of the stadium.

Travel by train

• Station: ''Bielefeld Hauptbahnhof''
• A special train (capacity for 1000 BVB fans) will be in operation with the following timetable:

Out:

Dortmund Hbf.: from 12:39 CET, platform 18
Stop at Hamm Hbf: 13:14 CET, platform 9 (for boarding)
Bielefeld Hbf: 13:47 CET

Return:

Bielefeld Hbf: 18:34 CET, platform 6
Stop at Hamm Hbf: 19:20 CET
Dortmund Hbf: 19:51 CET

• Shuttle buses to the stadium will be operated at Bielefeld's train station. All fans arriving by train must board these buses. Shuttle buses will also so be in operation after the match for the return journey to the station.
• In addition to the use of buses and trams within the city, the ticket also entitles the holder to travel free of charge to and from the event on local transport operated by "OWL Verkehr GmbH".

Travel by bus

• Buses can park directly at the stadium and will be directed to the appropriate parking spaces at Schloßhofstraße 54, 33615 Bielefeld.

Travel by car

• Due to the limited number of parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the stadium, we recommend using the large car park at Bielefeld University. It is not possible to park next to the stadium.
• The stadium can be reached on foot from the university car parks in 15 minutes. The stadium can also be reached via tram line 4. The stop at the stadium is "Graf-von-Stauffenberg-Straße". Please note that the parking spaces at the university are for both home and away fans.
• By car from Hannover: Travellers on the A2 from Hannover should take exit no. 28 Ostwestfalen-Lippe and follow the signs to the car parks at the university.
• By car from Dortmund: Travelling on the A2 from Dortmund, follow the signs to Bielefeld at the Bielefeld motorway junction and take the A 33 towards Osnabrück and continue on the A 33 to the new exit no. 19 Bielefeld-Zentrum. There the signposting to the parking spaces at the university will start.
• By car from Paderborn: Travelling on the A33 from Paderborn, at the Bielefeld motorway junction follow the Bielefeld destination in the direction of Osnabrück to exit no. 19 Bielefeld-Zentrum and from there follow the stadium signs to the parking spaces at the university.

Admission

• The stadium will open two hours before kick-off.
• The entrance is located at the north entrance on Schloßhofstraße.
• The 3G rule applies in Bielefeld. Upon admission, proof of complete vaccination protection, recovery or a negative test result (not older than 48 hours at 18:30 CET on matchday) must be provided.
• GGG proof will be checked at the beginning of the admission process. Please carry an identity card for this purpose.
• From 150 metres outside the stadium (from Schloßhofstraße) it is compulsory to wear a mouth-nose protection mask. In the stadium, mouth-nose protection masks in all circulation zones. The mouth-nose protection mask can be removed at the designated seat. Please also make sure to keep your distance from other people.

Permitted fan items: 

• Perimeter banners (provided space is available and escape/rescue routes are not impeded)
• Flags (up to 1.5m pole length)
• Swing flags up to 5m high
• Drums (hollow on one side)
• Megaphones

Banned items:

• Bags, backpacks, etc. cannot be taken into the stadium and must be handed in at the away entrance. They can be handed in free of charge.
• Single-lens reflex cameras

Other information

• Food and drinks can only be paid for in the away area by cashless means (Girocard, credit card).
• Please observe the crowd guidance system at the catering stands. This must be followed at all times. Please also observe social distancing. The consumption of food and drinks is only permitted at the ticket holder's designated seat in the stadium
• No alcohol is for sale in the away area. 
• Please observe the hygiene measures in the stadium: regularly disinfect your hands, turn away from other people when coughing or sneezing and keep the crook of your arm in front of your mouth and nose. When leaving the pitch, please turn your back to other visitors.
• Those who have been banned from the stadium will not be able to watch the match in the area surrounding the stadium. The "Almblick" bar, which has been well-known for years, no longer exists. Those banned from the stadium who nonetheless turn up at the stadium will not be allowed into the city later on and will not be able to follow the match.

Barrier-free access

Travel by car: 

• From Stapenhorststraße (coming from the city centre) turn right into Melanchthonstraße. After 100m on the left is the entrance to approx. 20 disabled parking spaces, which are close to the disabled entrance and can only be used with a generally valid disabled parking permit.
• It is advisable to register in advance with the fans representative for fans with disabilities (heckmann@arminia.de) so that access can be made via Melanchthonstraße. The car park can only be used with a widely recognised disabled parking permit. As there is no reservation for parking spaces, early arrival is recommended. If the car park is full, you will have to resort to other parking options. We recommend using the Bielefeld University multi-storey car park and then taking the barrier-free tram line 4 in the direction of the town hall to the "Oetker-Halle" stop. Your ticket is valid for three hours before and after the match as a ticket for public transport. Due to a lack of space, the car park is not suitable for cars and vans which are particularly long.
