Shinji Kagawa has continued his good form from the second half of last season for this season, even if he could not influence the game that much against Bochum as he did in the recent games on the Asia tour. The Japanese international gives his viewpoint after three weeks of pre-season preparations.

The pre-season preparations are at the halfway stage. What does it look like for the team?

We saw in the game against Bochum that not everything is working as it should yet. There is room for improvement in several areas. We were shown up on a few occasions. We need to and we will work on these deficiencies in training, so that we are right on form for the league championship. Our first important game is coming up very soon.

Will the team in general be geared up to be offensive?

We are playing football in a very fresh style. It is very enjoyable. We are really focused during training. I think we have a lot of quality in the team. (br)
