Borussia Dortmund recorded their fifth victory in six pre-season matches courtesy of a 4-1 (2-0) friendly win over FC Luzern during their training camp in Bad Ragaz, with Marco Reus, Kevin Kampl, Mats Hummels and Moritz Leitner all finding the net for the Black and Yellows.

Boris Rupert reporting from Lucerne

Borussia Dortmund turned on the style with a performance involving flowing combination play, fast attacks, two beautifully created goals in the first 45 minutes and five other good chances to score. However, what might not have been quite so pleasing to the onlooking Thomas Tuchel was that FC Luzern managed to create three very good chances, each of which was thwarted at the last second (by Piszczek, Subotic and Weidenfeller respectively).

The Black and Yellows took the lead with their very first chance, Hofmann finding Kagawa, who in turn fed the ball into the path of Reus for the midfielder to produce a deft chip over the 'keeper for the opener (10). Further danger came in the form of a spectacular 25-metre strike from Durm which went narrowly over (14), a Hofmann effort (19) and then a technically perfect 20-metre shot from Castro - following a poorly cleared corner - which Zibung saved brilliantly (30).

A poor pass from Zibung which went straight to Kampl almost led to a third for BVB, but the latter's 35-metre effort at an open goal narrowly missed (33). The Slovenian had found the net eleven minutes earlier, however, when he scored with a diving header following a glorious move involving Castro, Reus and Kagawa (22). Durm's effort, which was deflected away for a corner, was BVB's final act in a strong first half (38).

Tuchel made a number of changes at the interval, with only Weidenfeller, Subotic and Castro remaining on the field in the second period. Within minutes Aubameyang had shot from close range, but his effort could not beat Bucchi (47). The Gabonese then set up Hummels (51), whose shot from outside the area flew straight in, and Leitner (69) for the third and fourth goals, before Cirjak pulled one back with a deflected effort that went past the outstretched hands of the diving Weidenfeller (70).
