When the 147th Ruhr derby between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 kicks off this coming Sunday (8th November, 15:30 CET), all of Germany’s football fans will have eyes on Dortmund. A great initiative on behalf of the Neven Subotic Foundation will add further spice to the day – the main BVB sponsor EVONIK will relinquish its role as “Sponsor of the Day” to all other advertising rights and allow the BVB player’s foundation to be introduced to the fans.

By buying the Neven Subotic special edition programme with its unique BVB stadium front cover (available from the usual locations at Signal Iduna Park), all visitors to the stadium automatically donate two euros towards the Neven Subotic Foundation. Volunteer teams will also be ready with donation boxes, have information on the Foundation’s work and answer questions about Neven's involvement. On top of that, on the BVB app, fans can get easy access to the Foundation's work and can go there directly for a donation form.

Everyone can rest assured that all donations will be handled 100% transparently and will be used to facilitate a better drinking water supply in Ethiopia. All administrative costs will be covered by Neven Subotic himself.
