Manuel Gräfe from Berlin will officiate the home game against VfB Stuttgart together with linesmen Guido Kleve and Christoph Bornhorst. Robert Schröder will be the fourth official. It is the 34th time the 42-year-old match official will be involved in a BVB Bundesliga match.

Gräfe has overseen 18 victories, seven draws and eight defeats for Dortmund. In the 2014/15 season, he refereed five matches involving BVB: victories against Gladbach (3-1), Bremen (3-2), a draw against Stuttgart (2-2) as well as losses in Munich (2-1) and Bremen (2-1). He has taken charge of one match in the 2015/16 season, when BVB beat Augsburg 5-1 at Signal Iduna Park.

The 42-year-old became a Bundesliga official back in the summer of 2004 and has since been involved in 191 matches in the German top flight. Hertha 03 Zehlendorf is Gräfe's hometown club. The Berlin-based sports scientist has been a DFB referee since 1999, is single, loves Italian and French cuisine, does a lot of sport, enjoys travelling and is interested in history. He has also been a FIFA referee since 2007. (br)
