Borussia Dortmund wishes all of its fans happy holidays!

Dear Fans and Friends of Borussia Dortmund!

It’s in people’s nature to pause briefly at the end of each year and to look back at everything that has happened to them across the last twelve months. In the case of BVB, admittedly, it has been a lot.

Together with you, we went through dark footballing times – and still managed to fight our way from 18th place into the UEFA Europa League. Together with you, we made it to the DFB-Cup Final for the third time in four years – but unfortunately were unable to scoop the prize. Together with you, we felt sadness as we parted company with Jürgen Klopp after seven incredibly successful years – and felt happiness at the coming of our new coaching-team under Thomas Tuchel. Together with you, we celebrated the promotion of our ladies handball team, and were able to witness the great steps forward made by our many talents irrespective of the type of sport. Lightness, darkness, happiness, sadness, hope, the future. We always experience these things together, always intensively and always genuinely. That’s how BVB is and has been in 2015.

At the end of this year we simply want to say thank you.  Thank you, for having been part of us, being part of us and remaining so. Come what may.

Borussia Dortmund wishes you and your family a pleasant Christmas holiday.
