The German Football League (DFL) has set exact times and dates for all fixtures up to and including Matchday 29. The rest of the matches this season will be scheduled in the week beginning on 21 March once the progress of the various German clubs still involved in the two European competitions has been determined.

Until then BVB have one more Saturday match, against Werder Bremen on 2 April (18:30 CET).

One thing is already clear: no Matchday 32 fixtures will be scheduled for Sunday 1 May. The decision not to hold matches on this holiday was approved in 2010 by the DFL as part of the 10 Point Plan for more safety in football following a request from politicians due to the excessive strain placed on police forces by the rallies and demonstrations held on 1 May.
