Four weeks prior to the start of the 54th Bundesliga season, the last remaining EURO 2016 participants have reported to Borussia Dortmund for duty. For six players, the new season kicked off with a performance diagnostic.

Three and a half weeks after losing the EURO 2016 semi-final to France, Julian Weigl is not the only Germany international at BVB. He has been joined by Mario Götze, who arrived punctually at the club's Brackel training centre on Monday morning with friend and fellow new signing André Schürrle in tow.

The players then headed to Bochum University for a performance diagnostic, a test which all Borussia players have completed on their first day of training. Today they went in two groups: André Schürrle, Mario Götze and Raphael Guerreiro in the first, with Lukasz Piszczek, Julian Weigl and Joo-Ho Park in the second. (br)
