Great games and good results: The trip to Leverkusen has paid off for Dortmund's fans and players alike across the last decade. On Saturday, (18:30 CET), the two clubs will face each other in their 75th Bundesliga encounter.

The last time Borussia Dortmund left the BayArena as losers, Thomas Doll was managing them. On that day, 19 May 2007, the Black and Yellows were still playing to participate in the UEFA Intertoto Cup. Stefan Kießling and Simon Rolfes took to the field for Bayer, Ebi Smolarek for Borussia.

Since then, there have been four away victories and five draws for BVB in Leverkusen. Bayer's winless streak at home to Dortmund is longer than against any other Bundesliga club. Bayer have only won three of the two clubs' last 18 matches, home or away, all of those wins coming at the Signal Iduna Park. Only against BVB did Roger Schmidt's team fail to pick up any points at all last season.

Nevertheless, prior to Saturday's fixture at 18:30 CET, Bayer can point to their recent strength when playing at home and their never-say-die attitude. Across this season and the last, Leverkusen have won six of their last seven matches at home, and have managed to turn two games on their head in the final stages to take points. No other team has scored more often in the last 15 minutes than they have (5 goals already). (br)
