Borussia Dortmund have set a number of records in the recent past. For example, last year was the first time in the club's history that they won the first five league games and the first 11 competitive games of a season. And at the end of the campaign, they were the best runners-up of all time with 78 points.

On Friday they have another chance to set a new record: never before have Borussia Dortmund remained unbeaten in 25 consecutive home Bundesliga matches! The previous record of 24 matches – set between 3 November 2001 and 15 March 2003 – was equalled in the club's 3-1 home victory over Sportclub Freiburg. Now they will be gunning for the new club record against Hertha – with the support of 80,000 spectators behind them. The club's last home defeat in the league came on 4 April 2015, when they succumbed to a 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich. (br)
