On Tuesday evening (20:45 CET) Borussia Dortmund will play their final home game of the UEFA Champions League group stages. The Black and Yellows will be looking to pick up three points and secure top spot in Group F against Legia Warsaw, as well as building some consistency in their performances and results.

"The Champions League is the top level of football," said Matthias Ginter. "And the big objective we've set ourselves is to win this group. Given our current position, that's what we hope to achieve." That said, no-one is expecting a rollover or a repeat of the 6-0 thrashing BVB inflicted upon the Poles in the first match.

"You can see how Legia have developed," said André Schürrle of the Polish champions. The only one of the previous five matches that Legia have failed to win was their European stalemate with Real Madrid on Matchday 3, a clash that ended in a 3-3 scoreline. It's a result that speaks volumes. Under new coach Jacek Magiera the Warsaw-based club have "climbed from tenth to third", said Tuchel Tuchel. "I'm expecting a completely different team. We need to put the current situation in the group and the result in the first match to the back of our minds."

With the match coming only three days after the Bundesliga clash with Bayern Munich, it is a changed BVB side that will take to the field. "We will take the liberty of rotating and bringing in some fresh legs," announced the coach. However, he maintains he would have done the same "if we were in urgent need of points". The 43-year-old may make even more than the five changes that have recently become the norm. "I'm expecting absolutely everything from players who are itching to play on such a stage. We'll need that to win a game like this. Nothing less than one hundred percent will suffice."

Question marks surrounding Schmelzer, Durm and Guerreiro

There are question marks surrounding the involvement of Marcel Schmelzer (cold), Raphael Guerreiro and Erik Durm, although Marco Reus completed Monday's training session without any problems. "As it stands he's in the squad," said Tuchel, who is hoping to avoid any more last-minute setbacks. "I'm expecting to see a fit Marco at the final training session tomorrow at 11 CET," he added.

With Roman Bürki sidelined for eight weeks with a broken hand, DFB Cup hero Roman Weidenfeller will be drafted in between the sticks up until the winter break. It means the defence will have to "readjust to each other", said Tuchel, though Ginter declared: "The only difference is that he's left-footed. We need to bear in mind which foot we pass to."

Tuchel is expecting his team to "show desire and get whatever we can out of the game. We are look to build some consistency in our results and performances. We need to continue in the same vein!"
