So far 291 goals have been scored in 88 Bundesliga duels between Borussia and Borussia - that is an average of 3.3 goals per game. BVB has always scored against Gladbach in the last 24 home games - the last time they did not score against them was when they drew 0-0 in August 1988.

Situation: seventh against thirteenth. Both teams are not quite living up to expectations. BVB has eight points less than at this stage last season, Gladbach has six points less.

Ratio: BV Borussia has won three of the last four games against VfL Borussia and this means they have slight positive ratio in the Bundesliga (31 wins, 29 defeats, 28 draws). There has been at least one goal in the last 38 duels between both teams; the last time they drew 0-0 was on the 17.April 1994 at the Bökelberg. BVB has won nine of the last ten home games against the team from the Niederrhein. BVB has only won more often against Fankfurt after going behind 0-1 than against Mönchengladbach (eight).
