Borussia Dortmund dominated from the first minute against SC Freiburg, who never stood the slightest chance and deserved to lose 3-0 on account of the shot ratio of 26-7 in BVB's favour. The Black and Yellows had more shots than they have in any other match this season, while SCF conceded more shots than they have on any other matchday this term.

Favourite foes: The Black and Yellows have now beaten the men from Baden-Wurttemberg in 12 successive matches. It's the longest winning run BVB have enjoyed against any team in their Bundesliga history.

Brace: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his 72nd and 73rd Bundesliga goals for Borussia Dortmund in Freiburg to put an end to his barren run of 471 minutes without a goal in all competitions. That brace, his fifth of the season, saw him move above Andy Möller and into sixth place on the list of BVB's all-time record goalscorers.

Clean sheet: BVB picked up their first away clean sheet this season – and only their fifth overall – against Roman Bürki's former employers.

First free-kick goal: BVB scored from a free-kick for the first time in the Bundesliga this season. It was the 11th goal Freiburg have conceded from set-pieces – more than any other team in the division.

Early goal: Borussia Dortmund have now scored more goals in the first 15 minutes of matches this season (10) than any other team.

Off the mark: Sokratis marked his 150th Bundesliga appearance with his first goal of the season. During each of his six seasons in Germany – including the current campaign – the Greek has scored precisely one goal.

Beaten on home turf: Freiburg suffered their fourth home defeat of the campaign. Three of those have come against the teams at the top (Bayern, Leipzig, Dortmund).
