Borussia Dortmund could be fully satisfied with the performance but not the result, said Roman Bürki in an interview with BVBtotal! following the 1-1 draw in the Ruhr derby. "In terms of commitment and desire, everything was good," the BVB custodian said.

Roman, you were in the lead and had chances to get a second, but ultimately you're leaving today with 'only' a point. What's your take on it?
"We're definitely not fully satisfied. As you just said, we were in the lead and had the chances to put the game to bed. But we didn't take them and Schalke never lost their belief in getting back into it, equalised and put us under enormous pressure in the closing stages. At the end of the day we're not 100 percent satisfied with the result."

Just the result, or the performance too?
"Just the result. Our performance was completely fine. We battled hard, really held our own in the tackles and in terms of commitment and desire, everything was fine. But it would've been very bizarre indeed if one of the two teams in a derby match hadn't been prepared to give it everything they had."

You've now dropped down to fourth place in the table. How important is it going to be to pick up victories in the coming weeks – in the Champions League and the DFB Cup, but above all in the Bundesliga?
„Very. Our objective is to qualify for the Champions League directly. With that in mind we need to give it everything we've got. Luckily we only have wait until Tuesday for our next chance to fight for another three points." (djg)
