What a run! Borussia Dortmund have only lost four of their last 33 matches in the DFB Cup. Three of those defeats came against Bayern Munich (2013 quarter-final and the 2014 and 2016 finals) and one was by Wolfsburg (2015 final). Here we bring you the match facts on the DFB Cup final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Records: Since the inception of the Bundesliga, the two finalists have squared off in 92 competitive matches. BVB have the better record, with 44 wins, 16 draws and 32 defeats. They have met on four occasions in the DFB Cup. Eintracht won the first two ties (6-2 in 1968/69 and 3-1 in 1978/79) and the Black & Yellows emerged victorious in the last two (2-1 in 2007/08 and 1-0 in 2013/14).

Successive DFB Cup finals: Borussia Dortmund have become the first club to reach four successive DFB Cup finals (this is their fifth since 2012). BVB have won each of their last seven semi-finals in the competition, equalling Bayern Munich's record.

Shootout specialists: Frankfurt are only the second finalists to have won three penalty shootouts en route to a final. Shootouts aside, they have only scored five goals in this year's competition.
