The German Football League will publish the fixture list for the 2017/2018 Bundesliga season on 29. June. The season begins on 18. August and ends on 12. May 2018.

There are two "English weeks" (weeks incorporating a midweek round of fixtures) with games on Tuesday and Wednesday (kick-off at 20:00): on 19./20. September and on 12./13. December 2017. The first half of the season ends on 17. December, immediately after which the DFB Cup round of 16 will be played (19./20. December). The second half of the season begins again already on the 12. January 2018. The first of five matches to take place on Monday has been entered into the proposed fixture calendar for the 27. November. The Monday fixture should only be played by Europa League participants, so that they receive an extra day for recovery after having played Thursday night. (br)
