After the last minute win over Westfalia Rhynern last weekend, the U23s play their next home match this coming Sunday. They are due to play Borussia Mönchengladbach's second string at 14:00 CEST in the Rote Erde stadium in this still youthful season. As such, there are two home games for BVB fans this weekend: on Saturday the senior team take on Hertha BSC.

The teams have made an identical start to the Regional League season 2017/18. Both of them go into this Borussia-duel undefeated, with seven points from three games. Unlike last weekend, BVB trainer Jan Siewert will have to forego the services of Joo-Ho Park, who had to be taken off already in the first half against Rhynern after suffering an injury. That notwithstanding, eleven highly motivated young men will be standing on the pitch this Sunday ready to win the prestigious Borussia-duel. Just last season, the two Borussias offered up enthralling contests and fought to the end to secure for themselves second spot in the Regional League West table.

BVB Trainer Jan Siewert is confident that the three points will stay in Dortmund on Sunday. The most recent stats speak in favour of BVB too. The Black and Yellows lost neither of last season's two fixtures (one win, one draw).

Gates open as per normal at 12:30 CEST. Sufficient tickets will be available for purchase at the Rote Erde Stadium sales desks.
