Borussia Dortmund's U19s, who are the reigning A-Youth champions in Germany, will play the first match of their UEFA Youth League campaign on Wednesday evening. They will be facing the same opponents as the first team: Tottenham Hotspur.

The UEFA Youth League, which comprises the eldest youth teams of the respective UEFA Champions League participants, is organised into the same groups as the senior competition.

"That's next on the agenda. But the Bundesliga match against Borussia Mönchengladbach at the weekend is more important," said U19 coach Benjamin Hoffmann prior to the trip to London. The UEFA Youth League clash with Tottenham Hotspur will be broadcast live on Sport1. The game will kick off at 16:00 CET on Wednesday. (br/wiwi)
