As well as being without four candidates for the full-back positions when Borussia Dortmund face Rasenballsport Leipzig on Saturday evening, Peter Bosz has problems to contend with in central defence too with question marks surrounding Sokratis' involvement.

The Greek centre-back picked up a knock on international duty and was unable to take part in full training yesterday. "I hope he'll be back in full training today," said Bosz, adding: "He'll need to be if he wants to play tomorrow." Yet the Dutchman remains hopeful. "I think we'll be okay," he said.

There needs to be a personnel reshuffle in the full-back positions as well. With Lukasz Piszczek sidelined, having sustained a knee injury while playing for Poland at the weekend (Bosz: "It doesn't look good. He'll be out of action for the next few weeks, perhaps even months."), Jeremy Toljan could move across from the left flank to the right and Dan-Axel Zagadou could fill in at left-back as he did in the opening weeks of this season.

As for the "late returnees" such as Christian Pulisic, the coach will use his instinct to decide whether they come into contention for a starting berth and whether that would make sense. "We only had the full squad back yesterday. That means there are only two days to prepare for the important match with Leipzig..." (br)
