Saturday will see the BVB team bus on the A2 again. This time, however, it won't be heading to Magdeburg but to Hannover-Herrenhausen, where the Black & Yellows will be aiming to follow up their DFB Cup victory in midweek with a win at the HDI Arena.

"They're not a normal promoted side," warned coach Peter Bosz, adding: "Hannover have always been a Bundesliga club." The 96ers, who returned to the top flight this summer, might have suffered defeat against Frankfurt in their last home game, but they still sit sixth with 15 points from their opening nine matches. Bosz spoke of a "dangerous team who are very well organised" and who do not need to create many chances to score. "It will be a challenge for us," Bosz said.

The Dutchman saw his charges bounce back from their small slump with a 5-0 victory at 1. FC Magdeburg in midweek. "The mood [in the camp] has never dropped. We've only been disappointed," he ensured. "But of course, it's important that we managed to win again, 5-0, and kept another clean sheet in the process."

Mario Götze will be involved in Lower Saxony, while Bosz is also hoping Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Christian Pulisic, Julian Weigl and Ömer Toprak will return. The latter two have already been able to train, although only individually in Toprak's case. As for Aubameyang and Pulisic, the coach is waiting to see how today's training session goes. (br)
