FIFA referee Tobias Stieler from Hamburg will be in charge in the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday (18:30 hrs) for the top Bundesliga match of the day between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

He will be assisted by both his assistants Dr. Matthias Jöllenbeck and Christian Gittelmann. The fourth official is Bibiana Steinhaus.

The 36 year old lawyer from Hamburg is a referee for SG Rosenhöhe Offenbach in the county conference association Hessen and made his Bundesliga debut in February 2012 for the  match between TSG Hoffenheim and Mainz 05. He has been in charge for 80 Bundesliga matches so far, of which eleven matches have involved Borussia Dortmund. There have been eight wins, two draws and one defeat (2014 at home against Hannover) in the games where he was in charge.

He was in charge of a BVB v FCB match for the first time in March 2016, where the score ended in a 0-0 stalemate. In November 2016 there was a Dortmund home win (1-0) against Munich. (br)
